Daily Dose of Happiness

I know, it’s late. I think eighth graders are overloaded with homework. On average, I have about two hours of homework- a night. That is just ONE problem eighth graders face. Another major one is friends. Many people have friends who treat them like they’re worthless. If this ever happens to you, it is the perfect test to see who my true friends are. While I was looking for positive things in my friends, another friend decided to  text me:

“But I just can’t stand it when my friends don’t respect my other friends.”

After I had said something completely unrelated. After I received this text, I just wanted to send it right back to her saying

“I just can’t stand it when my friends don’t respect ME.”

Fortunately, I tried to be the better person in this scenario, and didn’t text her anything. These are just a few sneak peaks into the life of an eighth grader. Unfortunately, they aren’t all cheerful.
