All of my life, my long-term memory has been foggy. It almost seemed as if the happy (and sad) memories of my childhood were kept hidden under an opaque screen. But, ever since a few weeks ago, memories kept flooding into my brain. I’d be eating breakfast one morning and remember when my mom taught me how to divide with Cheez-Itz on an airplane, many, many years ago. Or I’d be sitting in class and remember a trip to Disney World when I was a toddler. It is extremely weird to think about the brain. Thirteen years worth of memory is stored in a 3 pound sack of nerves.
